Greyhill Incident Is a Survival Horror Game With Aliens Releasing This June

The aliens are coming this summer.
Greyhill Incident, a survival horror game where players face an alien invasion of a small American neighborhood, will release on June 9 for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC on Steam in both digital and special physical versions.
Being developed by Refugium Games as a single-player experience, aliens are the center of the game’s horror. The main character is Ryan Baker, who is described as being just a regular guy “equipped with a baseball bat and a few bullets in his trusty revolver.” The game is set in the early 1990s in the fictional U.S. neighborhood of Greyhill that’s under invasion from UFOs and “Grey aliens.” Baker must save one of his neighbors, as the whole area is now distrustful and afraid of government officials and calling the police for help after the rise of paranormal incidents.
The game is played from the first-person perspective. Players will solve puzzles, investigate the neighborhood, find more resources, encounter aliens and get to the bottom of the conspiracy. The aliens are all around the neighborhood trying to capture the people living there.
Based on the footage revealed so far and the tone of the trailers, Greyhill Incident looks to be a somewhat satirical take on an alien invasion with atmospheric horror elements and gameplay.
The physical version of the game called Greyhill Incident: Abducted Edition will be sold exclusively from the publisher’s online store. It will feature a newspaper clipping based on the game’s events, downloadable wallpapers, an official digital soundtrack and a guide to make your own tinfoil hat (tinfoil not included).
The game is developed with Unreal Engine. Greyhill Incident was first revealed in March 2022. The game takes inspiration from shows like the X-Files, the 1993 movie Fire in the Sky, books and “true events.”
Perp Games is the publisher on consoles, who are based in London, England. The company has published both digital and physical console versions of several other horror-based titles like MADiSON, Do Not Open, Apsulov: End of Gods and Maid of Sker.
