The PlayStation 4 Launch Games
The PlayStation 4 will cost $399.99 when it releases on Nov. 15. These are the games that will be available for the console on day one.
Sony Exclusives:

Killzone: Shadow Fall (Guerrilla Games/Sony Computer Entertainment): $59.99
Shadow Fall is the fourth console game in the Killzone franchise and one of two exclusive PS4 retail games.

Knack (SCE Japan Studio/Sony Computer Entertainment): $59.99
Along with Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack is one of the two full-fledged exclusive games at the PS4 launch. It’s from Sony Computer Entertainment’s Japan Studio and Mark Cerny. Cerny has a long history in game development, going back to the early 1980s arcades and working on the Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank franchises. He’s also the man behind the PlayStation 4 system architecture.

Resogun (Housemarque/Sony Computer Entertainment): Free with PlayStation Plus/$14.99
From the creators of Super Stardust HD, an early downloadable title for the PS3, Resogun is an exclusive shmup for the PlayStation 4.
Not Exclusive but not on Xbox One:

Contrast (Compulsion Games/Focus Home Interactive, also on PC/PS3/Xbox 360): Free with PlayStation Plus/$14.99
This indie title replaces Driveclub as the free game for PlayStation Plus members since Evolution Studios’ racer got delayed past the PS4’s launch into early 2014.

Super Motherload (XGen Studios, also on PC/PS3): $14.99 & Cross-Buy

DC Universe Online (Sony Online Entertainment/SCE, also on PC/PS3): Free-to-play
This free-to-play MMO based in the DC Comics world first released in January 2011. PS3 players will be able to transfer their character and content over to the PS4 version and PS4 players can join in with those on PS3. Other new updates will be available for both versions when it releases for the PS4.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition (High Voltage Software/Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, also on PS3/PS Vita/Xbox 360/PC) $59.99
Injustice first released in April 2013, developed by NetherRealm Studios. The PS4 version features all the downloadable content released for the game and looks to take advantage of the system’s sharing features.

Trine 2: The Complete Story (Frozenbyte, also on PC): $19.99
The Complete Story will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second on the PS4.

Warframe (Digital Extremes, also on PC): Free-to-play
Warframe is a co-op based third person shooter set in a sci-fi background.

Flower (thatgamecompany/Sony Computer Entertainment, also on PS3/PS Vita)
Flower first released on the PlayStation Network in February 2009. Those who bought Flower digitally on the PS3 will automatically own it for PS4, according to Sony. There’s a PS4 set of Trophies to unlock and the game will also run at 1080p and 60 frames per second.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag (Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft): $59.99
With yearly releases since 2009’s Assassin’s Creed II, Ubisoft’s franchise has suffered from fatigued. Black Flag looks to revitalize the series with its focus on the pirate life.

Battlefield 4 (DICE/Electronic Arts): $59.99
Battlefield 4’s online multiplayer could edge out Call of Duty this year as the go-to game for both Sony’s and Microsoft’s new consoles.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (Infinity Ward/Activision): $59.99
Ghosts is the 10th game in the Call of Duty franchise, which began in 2003. As a bit of trivia, Call of Duty 3 was a launch title for the PlayStation 3 when it released in November 2006.

NBA Live 14 marks the Live franchise after a four year hiatus, with the last release on consoles being NBA Live 10 in October 2009. NBA Live features hard competition from the 2K series, which has dominated the court since replacing NBA Live as the premier basketball video game.
