Sly Cooper Series Returns in 2012
The raccconus steals the spotlight at Sony’s E3 conference.
Sony announced during its E3 press conference today that the next game in the Sly Cooper franchise would be coming to the PlayStation 3. Dubbed the Thieves in Time, it’s the fourth game in the series and the newest title since 2005.
Sanzaru Games, the studio that created the Sly Collection on the PS3, is developing Thieves in Time. Sucker Punch Productions developed the action platformers on the PlayStation 2 .
The Sly Collection was a high-definition remake of all three PS2 games from 2002, 2004, and 2005. The Collection released Nov. 9, 2010. The games featured updated graphics, 3D support and Trophies. After completing all three games on the collection, a cut-scene played hinting at the sequel by showing a Sly 4 logo.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will release sometime in 2012. No official release date or other game details have been confirmed by Sony or Sanzaru Games.
